Still no useful explanation.
The airport is closed and the advice is to avoid the area. Local groups have supplied the rest: aircraft collision, fuel fire, armed police, terrorist attack, fight in departures. Somebody has also announced that the runway has collapsed, which seems ambitious.
The strange part is the sound. There are bursts of emergency traffic, then gaps where I'd normally hear ordinary cars and aircraft.
My phone keeps dropping to one bar and back again. Pages load halfway. Messages arrive several minutes late.
