Lights Out

The power went at 18:35.

There was a low vibration first. I felt it through the kitchen floor. Then the sky lit blue-green for a few seconds and every streetlight came up far too bright.

Then everything stopped.

No lights. No television. No hum from the fridge.

Nothing from the airport.

The phone still works as a device but there's no service. The Atropos app says:

I don't know what continuity sync is. I don't remember switching it on.

Graham says if it uses battery, switch it off.

I haven't yet.

There is movement somewhere behind the houses. We can hear it better now the power is gone.
